7:30am - 12:30pm: Registration 9:30am - Short Course/Novice/Junior Race 11:30am - Women's Open Race 2:00pm - Men's Open Race (30 minutes after the last women's crew) Steerspersons meetings 30 minutes before race time.

Tides: | Low tide: 11:30am, 0.9 m./3.0 ft. High tide: 7:08pm, 4.4 m./14.4 ft. |
Safety: | 6 functioning PFD's per boat, 2 small bailers and a bucket. This race can be in big water - spray skirts are highly recommended. We don't have any spare spray skirts so if you are bringing your own boats, bring the skirts! |
Boats: | Other than for the short course race, we likely won't have any spare OC6's available for this race. If you need to borrow a boat, we suggest that you post a message on the CORA Message Boards. |
Race Course: |
Long Course - Women/Men/Mixed Teams will line up off of the Jericho pier for the start of the race. Paddle north to Point Atkinson lighthouse. Turn northwest towards Passage Island, go around the island and head back to the Jericho pier for the finish. The distance is approximately 24 kilometers/15 miles. OR Line up off the Royal Vancouver Yacht Club pier for the start of the race. Paddle around the red bell can, turn southwest to the yellow bell can and back to the finish at the Jericho Pier. The distance is approximately 22 kilometers/14 miles.
Short Course/Novice/Junior
Red line indicates short course, green line indicates open course. Note: race courses are dependent on weather and conditions. Changes may have to be made. |
Luau, BBQ and Awards: | Post races. Stick around as the fun will begin on site as soon as the formalities are over. The food and entertainment promise to be fantastic! Free for paddlers, $5 for kids and $10 for adults. |

Race Course: |
The race starts at the Jericho pier, facing east. Paddle east to a marker between the Royal Vancouver Yacht Club and the Kitsilano Yacht Club. Turn at the marker, paddle west to the bell can and back to the Jericho pier. Distance is approximately 13k. Note: race courses are dependent on weather and conditions. Changes may have to be made. |
