Established in 1993, the Jericho Outrigger Canoe Club (JOCC) was created to bring the spirit of outrigger paddling to the beaches of Jericho. To reflect the diversity of paddling today, at the 2014 AGM, we chose to rename Jericho Outrigger Canoe Club to the Jericho Paddling Club. We hope members enjoy all the club outriggers, surfskis and SUPS.
Our goal is to have people enjoy the water, spirit of competition and camaraderie that surrounds paddling. Jericho Paddling Club is for intermediate to advanced paddlers. If you have never tried outrigger paddling, we recommend you take a course from another local club. If you have previous paddling experience, but are unsure of your level, come out for a few sessions to see if you are a good fit. Jericho Paddling enjoys a great beach location and easy access to the best paddling in town. We're located at the Jericho Sailing Centre at the foot (north end) of Discovery Street in Vancouver. |
