2003 Vernon Freshwater Challenge Sunday, August 3, 2003 | ||
It was a weekend of fires: forest fires, camp fires, picnic table fires. There was a change to the race course to accommodate the water bombers. In spite of these diversions, the racing was great. On a beautiful morning, the women fought it out with False Creek all the way. The men's and mixed crews got to fight it out in the afternoon wind.
